RE: Chemistry

 

Our “chemistry journey” for secondary 2 has ended, for the rest of the lessons we will be learning biology and physics. I realized that chemistry is not that hard after all. It is basically understanding how chemicals react and also the periodic table. I remember in secondary 1, I was so naïve and thought that chemistry was very hard hence I had a “mental block” which caused me to find memorizing the proton number and the neutron numbers hard. However in secondary 2 I ensured that I was open-minded and realized how wrong I was one year ago. I realized that every chemical is actually related to others as there is actually a pattern in the proton number and the neutron number of every chemicals. Hence this made remembering the chemicals proton number, neutron number so much easier. With all these knowledge in my head, I realized that chemistry isn’t that hard after all, it is all about identifying the pattern and understanding it.
